Just moved in to Shalom College yesterday. Yeah everything's been fun, and for some reason I ate A LOT LESS. Dont ask me why, I dont know. Usually back in Indo I could go through five rounds of meal, but here even one kills me off. Damn it, what's wrong with me?
Well its a good thing tho, I might lose weight this way - without tempering my nutritional input at all lol. Yeah and I'm planning to do more sports and workouts. I started this morning when Jendi suddenly barged into my room, jumped and pushed my tummy really hard - waking me up. Yeah she told me to go to gym together, and we did.
Tomorrow morning I'm gonna go run around the Oval Green (the sports field in UNSW, in case u didnt know) as an exercise. Before I get a gym membership, thats what im gonna do.

Its been a few years since something like this happened. Gw suka sama orang, everything's fine at first, tapi di tengah2 gw sadar kalo ada lawan main yang lu tau ga mungkin menang. Hahah. Yang dulu sih pas masih hi-skul, the person on the other side tuh saudara-slash-temen-deket gw. Sekarang ini someone yg gw baru kenal (although udh tau dia exist sejak kapan2), and shit that gw sih kalah mampus ama dia head on, soalnya dia punya the brain and the look.
Tapi as depressing as it may sound, it boils your semangat (in a positive sense). Sama aja kayak kalo lu kena pukul, pasti adrenalin lu yg tells you to fight back langsung muncul kan? heheh.
Guten Tag! The last few days I've been watching a lot of animes and reading lots of mangas for the sake of improving my drawing skills, and I have seemed to improve a lot in this one month - considering I have other stuffs to do such as doing chores, studying German, studying next semester's subject (oh, be back in Sydney in two weeks or so), and blah blah blah.
Not too bad eh? Though this is WAAAAAY AWAY from being perfect. The proportion's still a bit fucked up, and FOR GOD SAKE I CAN'T DRAW BOOBIES (LOL!)! Tell you something, its the hardest part of a female body for me to draw, heck knows why...maybe coz' I'm no pervs? HAHAHA.
anyway....
Found three good animes to watch (along with its manga), and I really recommend these for anime/manga enthusiasts:
YAKITATE!! JAPAN
Feel like eating bread anyone? Yeah this anime is for you! It's a culinary anime - focusing particularly on bread. The story tells you about a teen from a Japanese village...uh...forgot the name but anyway he's a countryboy, and he is gifted with this thing called SOLAR HANDS - which basically means his palms are warmer than everyone else's in average, so that when kneading the dough, it will ferment faster enabling various advantages to be obtained. He wished to create a whole new bread called JA-PAN (it's a pun, notice that 'Pan' is bread in Japanese) to rival all existing bread like English Bread, French Bread, German Bread et cetera. Basically, the story will be his journey in creating Ja-Pan while working in the top bakery chain in Japan: Pantasia.
He will be joined by Kansai boy Kawachi Kyousuke, Grandaughter of Pantasia group owner Azusagawa Tsukino, Manager of Southern Pantasia branch Matsushiro Ken, Harvard graduate and genius chemist Kanmuri Shigeru, and the weird bread judge (my fave charater) Kuroyanagi Ryou.
What I like about this anime, is that it's the only anime that ever makes me laugh (along with its manga). I mean, the jokes really kick in...and it doesn't happen at only one episode. LOL. If I were to know Japanese a bit more...it's going to be a lot funnier coz' they employ uses of puns when Kuroyanagi shows reactions after eating a bread he's supposed to judge. (reactions? read the manga/watch the anime to find out. stupid and funny at the same time).
One chapter full of shit. LOL. You might not get it but if you read it you will understand LOL.

Toradora!
Now this is a Shounen manga/anime. It's genre is very common - about school life. But what makes it different from many anime of the same genre is its story development. The fact that it's a late-2008 made anime makes its graphic one of the best there is (at least amongst those of its genre). It's title is derived from the names of the two main character: Aisaka Taiga ('Taiga' is japanese adaptation of the word 'Tiger', which is 'Tora' in Japenese), and Takasu Ryuuji ('Ryuu' is the word for 'Dragon' in Japanese, or 'Doragonu' when adapted to Japanese, which is how 'Dora' comes into the title)
The bottomline of the story is telling you about a guy named Takasu Ryuuji, who inherited the 'delinquet-look' eyes from his late father. On the first day of his sophomore year, he bumped into a rather violent and short girl, Aisaka Taiga (because of her name she is nicknamed Palmptop Tiger - Tenori Taiga in Japanese). After series of incidents they somehow befriend each other, just to find out that they had a crush on each other's best friend. Ryuu ji likes Minori Kushieda, while Taiga likes Kitamura Yusaku. It's still an ongoing story and I haven't even gotten to the end of the series. But cliffhangers' the best part of this anime. LOL. Oh...and its cinematography is AWESOME!

Oh well, so i bought Folie a Deux last week. Apparently Fall Out Boy is changing their sound once again, but I personally think its pretty good!
My favorite tracks were:

8. What a Catch, Donnie
9. 27
10. Tiffany Blews
12. 20 Dollar Nose Bleeds <-- (I told Dara to listen to this, and she would actually text me on phone and facebook at 3 in the morning just to tell me that she really likes the song hahahaha si anak gila)

Btw gw gak tau ini bener ato nggak. Tapi kayaknya that person bakal ke Indo bentar lagi ahhahaha. Minggu depan sih katanya tapi gw gak pasti. Wew. Gw harus cepetan nih booking (anjing kesannya apa hahahaha gw goblok abis).
Well tapi itu urusan gampang lah, that can be arranged. (wtf i'm saying two things that have the same meaning). So yeah. Sekarang gw butuh orang buat nge-suppress the excitement down sampe nanti ahhahaa. Gw online nih, lu kmana sih? Sombong ga pernah sapa2 lagi.
Owell, Nächste Woche wird aufregend sein (minggu depan bakal asik)!
I'm so happy to get a lot of birthday greetings and wishes from everyone, as you can see on my facebook account. I even lost my count when trying to count how many 'happy birthday' were given to me. LOL.
And yeah, I would like to give an extra thanks for those in Sydney who tried to wake up at 4 a.m. to give me the birthday sms or facebook wall (though none succeeded in doing so hhahahahha so hilarious). You know who you guys are, right?
But well its a bit disappointing. I've been expecting a birthday wishes from some people...and two people just won't bother doing so. It sucks...really...it sucks! Who they are? Well...you could call 'em S and J. All my high school friends should recognize S, and most Uni friend and some high school friend would have known J.
Anyway just some random facts why I'm so disappointed. You should know that S is the first person I liked (a more common term for everyone would be 'first love' but i dunno i just dont like the words...) and J is my current crush. Do you all now understand? AGH.
Today's the last day of my exam. So I'm free now. WOOHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! LIBERTY IS SCHWEET!
anyway....
I'm totally exhausted now. I slept only three hours yesterday, and on the morning i drank a bottle of Kratingdaeng so I won't be too sleepy on my exam. As a result, my stamina is drained by now....

Before reading this blog, please note that this is only my opinion (i.e: just what i think) - and that I am neither a highly devoted disciple of religion nor a dedicated scientist. I am expecting some disagreement from people, and I will respect them. ________________________________
There are people who believes so much in science, and they instantly rejects some ideas of religion that seems to conflict scientific facts.
There are people who belives so much in religion, and they instantly rejects some ideas of science that seems to conflict religious belief. (I could've said vice versa, but what the heck...)
You want to ask me which side I'm in? Well.
Neither.
In fact, i'm in a side which opposes those two ideas. I don't believe that religion opposes science and vice versa (finally).
As a person who grew up with a MSc. Father, an BSc. MBA mother, and a highly religious grandmother, I have been introduced to religion, theology, science and engineering ever since I was a little kid. It was my mom who gave me a lot of knowledge about science - and I've been interested in a lot of things normally small kids won't give a fart about. Things like rocketry, time-travel, the universe and stuffs. But at the same time, my grandma and my dad gave me religious teaching and sometimes read me the Koran (since we're Muslim...oh and of course it's translation, I can't speak Arabic). So I am quite aware about God, angels, demons, prophet. I might have skipped some prayers (LOL my friends at Uni will definitely laugh about this when I say FEW), but I do believe in my religion a lot.
As I grew up, I studied science in more depth - and studied about evolution in more depth (as in studying about genetics, adaptation, and mutation as opposed of just knowing monkeys turned into human). At the same time, my tajweed (the skill of reading the Koran) tutor told me that that the theory of evolution of darwin doesn't make sense since it would mean that Adam, the first human, father of all man, is a monkey. Evolution makes a lot of sense to me, but that fact about Adam makes me curious. Then when I heard about some people telling about the "missing link" theory...I started thinking that...maybe monkeys did evolve into those human looking primates - Homo Erectus, Homo sapiens neanderthalensis - but that's it...and when these creatures starts to extinct somehow for unknown reason, Adam descended to Earth. That makes sense. That's when I began to think that science and religion were not really opposing each other, sometimes they seem as if, but they really isn't.
Other thing is the fact that the Koran told human were made of earth. I mean..what the heck...earth? I don't look like any soil. But really, after a while thinking about it...it's really telling us the truth. Human is a carbon based organism, and along came calcium in the bones and other minerals composed inside our body. Guess what? Those are also the compositions of soil! So it wasn't saying that soil were made into human...but rather that human and soil were composed of the same compounds and chemicals!
This comes to me thinking about how other Koranic (and Biblical at the same time) creatures might be explained by the same logic as well. Angels were said to made of light...and that is very consistent with their description of their ability of changing their form into anything they wish, and the fact that they can move godspeed. They can change how they look because they can manipulate light - which is what our eyes could sense when we try seeing things. The fact that they can move really quick is because light is capable of moving so quickly is because light travels at 3 x 10^6 m/s.
This whole thing makes me believe that those hardliner religious people should realize that He himself were the one that defines the Laws of Science, and those scientists should realize that He works at a logic that human may haven't, if not never will, understand. These are some stuffs I thought about that might be true, but is not verified or clarified by both science nor religion:
- Soul is a distinct type of energy which the body needs to start working. The body might have some sort of "reactor" hidden somewhere inside that uses this "energy" to cause body mechanisms to work. However this "reactor" functions is only to turn on the organs, and these other part of body cannot convert the "energy" into work - which is why we still need to take foods and other source of energy. I think this "reactor" might be somewhere in the brain.
- Some scientists argue that God can't exist because if he creates the universe...who created God in the first place? He can't just exist like that. Some more religious people argue that if that is so, who would create this universe? Thus creating a looping argument. God might be living beyond the realm of space-time where human might not understand what's happening there. So it is really not a place to argue about it for we haven't gotten our knowledge there yet.
It's funny how people said science have proven God doesn't exist, for ironically religion has verified us that science is correct. The more I studied about Science, the more I believe that God really exists.
